The Alpha Rho Scholarship Program is supported by our generous alumni of the Alpha Rho Chapter of Kappa Alpha Order at West Virginia University. Each year, our alumni return to Morgantown for a reunion where old friendships continue and new ones are made. We are proud to have alumni spanning six decades that return for our events each year.
If you're an alumnus of Alpha Rho Chapter of Kappa Alpha Order, make an effort to come back to Morgantown for Homecoming weekend each year. Better yet, contact one of your pledge brothers and start your own tradition by attending the reunion.
Homecoming Reunion Weekend
Each year, our alumni target WVU Homecoming as Alpha Rho Alumni Reunion Weekend. During the week, we have activities planned for each day including visits to the renovated KA House, golf, tailgate, and the WVU Mountaineer game. Come in a meet old friends and share good times again at some of your favorite Morgantown spots like the Mountainlair and Marios. Our alumni volunteers coordinate activities and hotel accommodations for anyone needing help.
KA Klassic Charity Golf Tournament During Reunion Weekend
Each year during Reunion Weekend, the KA Klassic Charity Golf Tournament takes place on Friday before the WVU Mountaineer football game. Started in 1991, the KA Klassic has become the main funding source for the Alpha Rho Scholarship Program. Our attendees get a chance to compete in a creative tournament format that allows even the high-handicappers to have fun and take home great prizes. The best part about the tournament is spending an afternoon with your KA brothers.
